11 - 17 April (week 15)
This week we completed the Yoga Quest for cosmic kids yoga adventures. We started it well over a year ago but forgot to do it for quite a long time... We also did another Andy's wild workout and we made the most of the nice weather by going out for several walks to see all the beautiful flowers and plants springing into life.
We had a nice walk around Sissinghurst castle admiring the gardens and orchards and doing an Easter trail.
We played the What's the time Mister Wolf board game.
We looked at some baby pictures of people we know and talked about how much people change as they grow up and what babies need compared to what older children or grown ups need.
We made a cool swirly cloud in a bottle with the letterbox lab.
Vin played lots of Kahoot multiplication games.
We had a look at some of the chess puzzles in Vin's book and played some more games.
We read the story about going back in time to the Victorian era from Vin's mystery in time box.
Vin practiced drawing the times on some clocks.
We thought about who we would put in a musical band and what type of music they'd play and what they'd wear. Vin drew a cool picture.
Vin did a bit of maths on Khan Academy.
We read some more extracts from Anne of Green Gables, answered some questions about it and talked about types of adverbs.
We did the Mystery Science about why do plants give us fruit? We looked at different types of fruits and vegetables and investigated them as well as looking at plants around us and seeing how the fruits or seeds grow. We discovered a bit more about our mystery seeds in the anchor activity.
We had fun with some Easter themed stamps.
Library books as per last week!
