Vin loves the show Numberblocks and there were some new episodes of it while we were away. We watched one of the episodes and then made our own "number talent show" like the story in the episode. We made triangles with pompoms, built the different numberblocks with lego and made a domino trail.
We read a book about apples and Vin made his own apple delivery company.
We visited the library for a lot of new books. Vin is really enjoying the Tintin comic books at the moment.
We watched another numberblocks episode about "Place Value" - tens and ones. We used our Number Castle to do sums + and - to 20. Vin did a really tricky dot to dot with numbers up to 97, then he coloured in the picture.
We did an experiment putting raisins into fizzy water and watched them float and fall.
We've played outside loads, at the playground and at home. We used old bottles to make a skittles game in the garden and wrote down the scores to add them all up.
We made orange and lemon cupcakes and had Vin's grandparents round to tea to enjoy them.
Vin enjoyed playing board games and with some giant dominoes at a friend's party.
Vin practiced safely using a saw and a electric screwdriver to build a frame to protect our bean plants that we have planted. He helped clean up the pots and plant the beans.
Then we visited Vin's other grandparents and Vin enjoyed playing some tennis.
