12th April - 12 May Easter fun and outings

We've had lots of days out and fun activities, including:

A visit to Hargate Forest


We borrowed a "story sack" from the library. It has a story book and other activities. The first one we borrowed is called mrs Rainbow. We enjoyed reading the story, acting it out with the puppets, and then Vin made up his own stories and props using the puppets.


We played games on the computer:


We saw the dinosaurs at the shopping centre


We learned about how to program the labo to do different things


We went to an activity at the library themed about "Going on a Bear Hunt".


We did an "Eggsperiment" with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar:


We attended a skateboarding workshop


We made chocolate nests:


We helped volunteer at the park:


Vin made Easter cards:


We made a "small world" at the park:


We went to Eridge rocks:


Vin drew a big race track:


He wrote about an episode of Twirlywoos:


We made lots of obstacle courses in the garden:


And enjoyed another story sack in the garden. This time "Sneezy bear". It had a big cuddly bear, a jigsaw puzzle and some fun scenery:

We have seen SO many bluebells this year:


We visited the Ashdown Forest visitor centre and looked at their exhibits, Vin was interested in how all the joints in the barn are made:


We made a castle for a game of marbles:


Vin did some awesome colouring:

We practiced division, by sharing out toys:

We did some more activities from the Mrs Rainbow sack. There was a CD with things to print out and make including a Mrs Rainbow paper dolly and different outfits.
