18 - 31 May Trains and stuff!
We had a couple of weeks of doing train themed activities and other things. I forgot to take photos for a lot of it though!
We've also been reading lots of books, on the libby app as well as watching Vooks videos and other online books where we can find them.
We played the Ticket to ride board game.

We cut out and folded a paper train model. Vin got some wool and tied his 2 bits together so they were joined.

Vin drew a funny picure of Bunny Vs Monkey from his Phoenix comic

We cut out a sequence of events from George Stephenson's life and put them into Chronological order

We read about Isambard Kingdom Brunel and coloured in the pictures.

Vin drew a railway for his paper train to travel on.

We solved a puzzle working out the missing times from a timetable.

We read a pretend newspaper article about the first railway opening and answered a quiz.

Vin made faces for various pieces of furniture...

We read facts about train drivers and answered another quiz (think we'll give the Twinkl quizzes a bit of a break soon!)

Vin made a board game

We saw baby moorhens at the park

We solved an Escape room "at home" with maths puzzles. We did some online escape rooms for children too - one about pirates and one about egypt.

We watched some of Maddie Moate's lockdown youtube show. We had a go at making a panoramic picture with multiple Vinnies!

Vin has been building loads of Ninjago things inspired by the Lego Ninjago video game and his Ninjgao visual dictionary.
