Spooky Halloween fun! 12th October - 28th October 2018

Vin has wanted to try a Dragon fruit for ages! We finally found one to buy and try. We made our predictions before cutting it, what did we think it would look like inside? How would it taste? We were all way off! (it tasted a bit like kiwi) We used some foam modelling clay to make some Halloween monsters We built the Labo piano, Vin was so inventive and used the leftover little pieces to make a picture. It is a city, with power lines. The ninja turtles had some fun practicing writing numbers Vin did some great drawing in his How to draw Ninjago characters book Vin invented some very interesting lego creations. He is really enjoying colouring at the moment. He has done a LOT! We've had fun with magnetic tiles Vin's read steam train books at the Second hand book shop at Scotney Castle (again! Is this the 3rd or 4th time now?!) We drew our own autumn leaves, cut them out, and used them to make pretty autumn lantern decorations. We made gloopy hallow...

Some of the things we've been up to recently... We talked about inventions and I wrote down Vin's answers to the questions: Vin came up with an idea for his own invention, designed it and then built it: We drew a really big racetrack, and decorated it and put race car stickers on: Vin built a really cool dinosaur We went to Bluewater and Vin built and launched his own starship We did the nature trail there We did the Monthly Mini Build at the lego store. It was a cute scarecrow and pumpkins Vin decorated the bags for his party He tried out his new pens, and played with all his lovely new toys. We went to Bedgebury pinetum and went on all the playground areas. While there we also collected some sweet chestnuts which we later prepared and roasted to try. We went to Drusillas and had a lot of fun on a birthday day out. Vin enjoyed seeing all the animals, stamping his animal spotter book, and going on all the rides. He did lots of reading to us telli...
