We set up an obstacle course doing different actions, balancing along lines on the floor, throwing bean bags into a hoop. Then we did some mindfulness and practiced paying attention to our breath and bringing our concentration back when we felt our mind wandering. We’re trying out a new website to inspire some of our maths activities this week. It’s called natural curriculum. We watched some videos about Adélie penguins making their nests and solved some puzzles about the number of rocks. We made up our own riddles for each other to guess a number between 1 and 100. We read a book that was in English and Spanish. As we read we tried to see which words we could figure out in Spanish based on the English text. We also had some practice telling the time from the clocks in the pictures (in English! There was some Spanish time telling practice at the back of the book which we looked at as well).
