21st September - 13 October 2020

 In no particular order, in the last few weeks we have got up to the following things:

 We worked on maths and english activity books. Including a new book called "Sherlock Bones" which has maths puzzles to solve.

Vin wrote some nice things that are good about himself.

Vin followed some instructions sent by his friend to create his own craft mouse toy.

Vin and his Oma excavated some real crystals then read about them

Vin made a pasta bake with not too much help

We did lots of animal themed activities and sticker books

We played football in the rain

We went to the library and borrowed a LOT of books

We went out and about spotting signs of Autumn

We learned about our own history

We played lots of maths games on paper and on the computer and just quizzing each other while bouncing balloons or balls to each other.

We ate lots of cake

We did some Lego Ninjago lessons from the Into Film website. We watched the film, talked about the characters and Vin is making his own comic book following the lessons from the website.

We listened to a talk about Wagner and his epic work "The Ring Cycle". We learned about his inventions and grand ideas then listened to "The Ride of the Valkyries" piece of music. Then we drew pictures inspired by the story.

We've read lots of books and magazines, done lessons from some new books, played board games and puzzles, talked about all sorts of different things, watched and joined in with BBC bitesize super movers videos and done activities from their website.
