Why didn't the brachiosaurus go to the party? Because he was extinct! :)

Why did the dinosaurs go extinct? Perhaps the weather changed and it got cold and rainy? Or maybe all the volcanoes erupting covered everything in ash and lava? We made a volcano too. We made some dough And shaped it round a cup We made some lava! Then made an eruption!

Has it been snowing in the land of the dinosaurs? The dinosaurs are using their diggers and tractors to clear the snow! Then they needed a bit of a wash! We decided to mix some paint into the snow too: We pressed paper on top and made some foamy pictures. I think they will make good swampy scenery for our dinosaurs to play on.

Our theme for April is DINOSAURS! We've read some books about dinosaurs. We also found some mysterious eggs in the garden! We tried lots of different things to help the eggs hatch. We tried to crack them with different objects, throwing them onto the hard slate in the garden, even rolling them down the slide. It worked quite well to put them in warm water... The dinosaur babies were matched up to their mummy dinos! We also made plaster of paris dinosaurs: And painted them We made some dinosaur footprint fossils in play dough: We're looking forward to doing more fun dino things!
